What's this all about?
ABC/Disney plans to memorialize the fifth anniversary of 9/11 with a fictional docudrama called "The Path to 9/11". Written by an avowed right-wing activist, this work of fiction directly contradicts the accepted record of the 9/11 Commission Report. President Clinton and former administration officials were denied an advance copy; Rush Limbaugh and obscure right-wing bloggers saw it last week. ABC plans to distribute this docudrama to 100,000 educators across the country. We've set up this site to encourage ABC to change its strategy. READ MORE.

Tom Kean Caught in a Lie

For the last couple of days, Tom Kean's been peddling the line that ABC's "Path to 9/11" docudrama is a "reasonably accurate" depiction of events in the 9/11 Commission's Report, in effect somewhat backing away from the project's marketing line that it is "based on" the bi-partisan commission's investigation.

Yet, Fox News just reported that ABC producers of the film told them the project was "based solely and completely on the 9/11 Commission Report."

Head over to ThinkProgress for the rest of the story.

And over at CrooksandLiars, John Amato has some great video of Roger Cressey blasting "The Path to 9/11" as "something out of fantasyland."

It is time Democrats stop screwing around with form letters and really go after this tooth and nail.

Here is one idea that Democrats should do to show they are taking the gloves off with this mockumentary.

Every Democratic candidate contact their local ABC affiliate and tell them that they won't spend a dime in advertising on their station if this Republican propaganda is played.

And if the Democratic candidates think they are going to come away unscathed they are kidding themselves, this piece of crap will cast all Democrats in a bad light.

Off topic, this site doesn't come up in Safari -- just get a blank page. Firefox works, though.

After re-reading the 9/11 Commission report and previous stories on how it had many "facts" missing. Especially the incorrect logs of the FAA and how they failed to notify Northern Air Command of the planes for more than 20 minutes. I truly believe that Formerly Known as President Clinton was egregious in focusing on his own exit, rather than listen to the CIA and advisors that indeed had Bin Laden located and a chance to remove him. We aren't getting full disclosure. You'd think Clinton was still in office? Maybe you fools (and fools can have PhDs) don't get that there is truth and are afraid it will lend credibility to the real problem: our government, for the last 30 years, has failed in maintaining foreign relations and instead, has allowed corporations to run the government, rather than the people, for the people.
Even today, we read of rhetoric and absolute nonsense on stalling and stalling by Iran that is obviously creating the refined uranium (and funding it, again, with US dollars in oil sales). And once again, Russia, China and France sit back and cry "no, no sanctions" until 1000's of US citizens get killed by some new faction of Terrorists. Meanwhile, Chavez moves along, creating a communista in the land supposed protected by the Monroe Doctrine.
So much for creative freedoms. I wish the lost lives of all those lost on your hands, liberal, democratic, republican, and whatever banner you hide under. Certainly not that of the founding fathers. But that of some idealistic and some selfish and greedy Senator that only wishes her needs fullfilled.

Let me ask you something Anonymous(above me).

Is it any of our business what they are doing,as long as it doesn't affect us?

Do you honestly think that Iran, upon gaining a nuclear weapon, would sign their pwn death warrant in nuclear holocaust by firing on us or Israel?

That's a scare tactic my friend,to keep you in line. Iranian leadership may be a little nutty, but they aren't suicidal. Neither is the majority of hte Muslim world.
